Sustainability School is a new venture in skill sharing and sustainability education. All classes will be held in the Mattole River Valley. We are currently accepting proposals for 2012 and 2013. We are looking for teachers who:
Possess a high level of expertise in an area of homesteading skills, natural building, permaculture, organic gardening, or other sustainability school. Examples of courses we are interested in hosting include: earthern floors, natural plasters, permaculture design, family chickens, greywater systems, home brewing, canning, family goat, seed saving, orchard care, DIY natural beauty products, bread making, cheese making, bee keeping, renewable energy systems, wildcrafting, organic gardening, winter gardening, growing mushrooms, and rainwater harvesting.Have experience with teaching or leading groups.Are natural and authentic teachers.
Teachers will receieve:
Compensation for your time. A fair rate of pay will be determined based on course length and number of attendees.The opportunity to share your gifts and skills with others and the feeling that the world will be a better place because of this.

Your name.Your location (city and state if not from Mattole valley).Proposed course title.Brief (1 paragraph) course description.Why you are qualified to teach this course.Years of experience with course subject.Describe access to materials needed for course.Proposed course cost and your compensation.
