Natural builder, author, and instructor Michael G. Smith will take you on a journey around the world to see how people create their own beautiful, durable homes from natural materials. The list of basic building materials used throughout history is quite short: stone, earth, wood, and straw. In this two-hour slide presentation, you will visit 20 countries and explore the many ways that ancient and contemporary builders use these simple materials to make ecologically sensitive and climate appropriate shelter.
Vegetarian dinner will be served at 6pm. Cost is $10
